Method 1 – Editing the Local Group Policy
A fairly easy and uncomplicated method, these are the steps you should follow
Step 1 – Open up the Windows search bar by tapping Windows + S. Now go on to search for msc in the dialogue box.
Step 2 – Click on the Computer configuration > Administrative Templates > All settings This will list out all the existing policies of your Windows 10.

Step 4 – Choose the option Prevent changing lock screen and logon image and proceed to enable the Not configured Save and apply these new settings.
Step 5 – Restart your PC and check if the issue is solved.
Notifications –
Step 1 – Repeat the first and second steps of the Windows Update method.
Step 2 – Visit the following location – User Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Start Menu and Taskbar/ Notifications.
Step 3 – Search for Turn off toast notifications on the lock screen. Click on it twice to reach the settings.
Step 4 – Enable the Not Configured option and apply the changes. Restart your computer and check if the problem persists.
Method 3 – Change the Registry Settings
In this method, we delve into the Windows registry to alter the settings and hopefully halt the nuisance.
