Step 2: Further, click on the Program Files(x86) folder and then look for the NVIDIA Corporation folder. If you don’t find the NVIDIA Corporation folder in Program Files(x86), check for the same in the Program Files folder.

Step 3: Now, open Display.NvContainer folder. After you open it, you will find a file named Display.NvContainer. Right-click on the same and click on the Copy option.

Step 4: Let’s move ahead. Now press Windows+R keys. As you press these keys together, it will open the Run box. In the Run box, type shell: startup and click on the OK button.

Step 5: As you press the OK button, a Startup folder opens. Now paste the file that you copied in Step 3.

Step 6: Now it’s time to select the Properties option by right-clicking on the Display—NvContainer file.

Step 7: Finally, it’s time to go to the Compatibility tab in the Properties window. Now you need to select the option ‘Run this program as an Administrator.’ Now press the OK button.

It would help if you restarted your PC as soon as you complete these steps, and you will finally find the NVIDIA Control Panel back on your desktop screen.
