Step 4: Reinstall Gboard from the Apps store.

6. Factory reset

Note: You can perform the Factory resetting to remove whole data from your Android and iOS device including personal data and apps data. You must create a backup before performing the factory reset on your device. Follow the below-mentioned steps to do so:

For Android devices

Step 1: Click on settings then move to the General Management.

Step 2: Click on the Reset option then double click on the option Reset settings.

Step 3: This option will not erase the data and apps from your device. It will only reset your device into default condition.

Factory reset in Android device:

Step 1: Click on Settings then select General Management.

Step 2: Click reset then click Factory data reset.

Step 6: Open Google Play and reinstall Gboard and check if the error is solved.

Factory reset in iPhone:

Step 1: Launch Settings then click on the General option then select Reset and click on Erase All Content and Settings.

Step 2: You can use iCloud backup before performing a factory reset.

Step 3: Click the Backup option then select Erase and put your password.

Step 4: Put Apple ID password then wait until your device reboots.
